This website is dedicated to all the men and women of our Armed Forces.
Both current and Past.
On behalf of a grateful nation, I would like to thank the men and women of our armed forces.
Through out the history of our great nation, men and women have served our country to preserve the freedoms we hold so dear. Our fore fathers fought fiercely for our country to become "One Nation Under God". Since that time many of our citizens have taken up arms to defend others and us against tyranny and oppression. When the call to duty goes out many young men and women without hesitation, without regard to their own safety step forward to defend our way of life. They proudly wear the uniforms of the Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard. They leave their loved ones and everything they hold dear to allow us to continue enjoying our way of life.
Many Americans have never faced an opponent on the battlefield; many have never held the head of a dieing friend while kneeling in a pool of his blood. There are many of us here at home who have and understand the sacrifices that our young people today are making. The horrors of war continue on long after the battle is over. For some their war is never over. Many have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our way of life.
Our men and women are fighting today as I write this. They are fighting in countries far away from home against a merciless enemy. An enemy so vile they would kill our elderly, our women, our children and anyone who stood in their path. If you ask them why they will say. If you want your freedom there is a price to pay, freedom is never free. They are fighting over there and we should thank God for that. For if, it was not there it would be here on our own soil, you see there is a price to pay.
We are forever in the debt of these young men and women who so selflessly heeded the call to duty. They are all heroes, every one of them could be home today had they wanted to be. They could be working, going to school, raising families or doing what ever else may have been their dream. Instead they are on foreign soil doing battle so others may follow their dream.
I Pray that our young people defending our freedom and way of life come home safely.
I pray for the families that have lost a loved one on a battlefield far away.
I pray for the old veterans that are now in the twilight years of their life.
I pray for the young veterans that they may hold their heads high knowing that they are all heroes.
I pray that someday there may be peace around the world.
I pray that our flag continues to fly proudly across our great nation.
I pray for all our nations warriors past and present for with out them, I could not pray at all.
