We breed for quality, health , temperament and of course looks. Chinese Shar Pei are very protective of family and their territory. We raise our puppies in our home for early socialization with other animals and people.
Chinese Shar Pei are most recognized by their wrinkled appearance with large muzzles, deep set almond shaped eyes and small triangular shaped ears pinned down to their head.
Shar Pei are in a class of their own and are as individual as the people they own. They all have different personalities ranging from being aloof to being lap dogs. They range from "Hey don't touch me unless I want you to." To "Hey look at me I'm right here begging for your attention." One thing they all have in common is they want to be with their family at all times. They are very intelligent, easily house trained and their loyalty is unsurpassed in the dog world. Once you have a Shar Pei in your family you will never be with out one or two or more.
